The Capri Macaw is a rare and striking third generation hybrid, produced by crossing a Camelot Macaw with a pure Scarlet Macaw. This lineage gives the Capri its dazzling, fiery coloration brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold with subtle blue highlights on the wings and tail. Known for their bold personalities and high intelligence, Capri Macaws are social, affectionate, and full of energy, often forming deep bonds with their caretakers. They are playful and expressive birds that thrive on interaction, mental stimulation, and attention. Because of their strong Scarlet heritage, they can also be quite spirited and independent, making them best suited for experienced parrot owners who understand the needs of large, intelligent macaws. Macaws require a high fat diet, we recommend 70% pellet and 30% seed mix. Along with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, treats can be implemented for training here are some that are recommended, (in shell macadamia, almonds, and walnuts). It is also essential to keep them mentally stimulated as they are high energy parrots, supply plenty of natural toys and enrichment.

In order to reserve your baby we require a 30% deposit of the total price (e.g.) If the total cost is $5500 you will need to place a $1,650 deposit which will go to towards your payment as well. Once the baby is fully weaned and ready for your home the rest of the payment will be due. Weekly updates of your baby will be provided videos, pictures, and video calls.

Testing

We take pride in maintaining a disease free and clean nursery, all of our baby’s are tested periodically as well as the day they are reserved. Our guarantee is that you will receive a fully healthy and disease free baby bird, in addition we include DNA Certification with the purchase. (All the paper work listed above will be provided at the time of pick up)

Pick-up/Shipping Accommodations

We are an Online Shop based out of South Florida, for the locals or individuals willing to drive to us we can arrange for local pick up. However, if you are unable to meet locally don’t worry we do offer shipping services via Delta Cargo. Shipping rates typically range $225.00-250.00. Shipping must be paid for in advance not upon collect once your baby is fully weaned and ready for your home.
